MORE ABOUT CRUMY YOUTH PROGRAMS:Revolution - Formerly Known As Youth Week: At the end of each summer we take a week to have a great time with the students before they go back to school. We go to Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, NRH2O, or someplace similar on a couple of nights or days. We also have activities here at the church on other days. It is a time to open up to our community and let students know that Christians aren’t a bunch of boring, holier-than-thou people who sit around and pass judgment on sinners. Cost is $100-120. Youth Week is open to anyone in the community entering grades 6-12 the following school year.
High School Ski Trip: Each year at Christmas break we take students in grades 9-12 skiing and snowboarding in Colorado. This trip is open to anyone in the community. Cost is between $400-500, but, as with everything we do, scholarships are available and completely anonymous. We spend three days on the mountain and three nights in worship and fellowship. We also offer a Bible study for those who are moving towards maturity in their faith.
Middle School Breakaway: Over Spring Break we take students in grades 6-8 on a great trip. This year, we're travelling to Austin.
High School Mission Trip: Each summer we head out to show the love of Christ to others on a week-long mission trip. The past two years, we've gone to Crossville, Tennessee to conduct a Day Camp for under privileged children. This trip is open to all high school youth just completing 9-12 grades. If your youth will be participating in any off-site activities, field trips or overnights with Custer Road UMC, they must have a current (less than one year old), notarized Medical Information and Release Form on file in the church office.
Download the Medical Information and Release Form HERE. Notaries available at the church. For more information contact Anne Neeley at ext. 236.
