Prayer Ministry

Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

About Custer Road UMC Prayer Ministry:
The Prayer Ministry of Custer Road United Methodist Church offers opportunities for individuals to deepen their relationship with God through prayer.  With servant hearts we endeavor to make each member aware of our desire to lift up their needs, their joys, their concerns, and thanksgivings to the Lord in prayer.  We cover our church’s ministries, ministers, staff personnel, missions and members with prayer to sustain them, build them up and enfold them in the love of Jesus.  Then we listen for God’s direction in all we do.

Prayer request cards are now available in the Sanctuary hymnal racks. Fill out a card and place it in the offering plate. If your request is confidential, place the card in one of the five first-floor prayer coves.

Prayer Coves are also available for your convenience. Look for boxes:
- Near the Welcome Center in the Narthex
- At the main entry Chapel doors
- Near the church office
- Near the old elevator in the basement
- At the south stairwell in the basement

Three other coves are also available:
- Across from the Chapel
- In the hall in the children's area
- Outside room B16

Place your requests in any of the Prayer Coves, and the prayer team will pray for you.
