The 2011-2012 Confirmation season is here! The class is open to seventh grade youth and any other older middle and high school youth who have not been confirmed yet. There are two Confirmation classes per school year - one in the fall and one in the spring. Classes for the fall session begin Sunday, Jan. 29, 11 a.m., in the B5. Spring Confirmation Sunday is April 15, at 6:30 p.m.
Each class consists of eight sessions and a retreat. The curriculum comes from the Alpha series, which was designed to give nonbelievers an understanding of Christianity. In this context, it is meant to give youth a basic foundation of Christian principles in order to make new disciples and teach them the good news.
