Confirmation
The 2010-2011 Confirmation season is here! The class is open to seventh grade youth and any other older middle and high school youth who have not been confirmed yet. Each class is limited to 40 youth per session, at $20 per youth. Registration this year will be exclusively online.Contact the Rev. There are two sessions per school year. Classes for the fall session begin Sunday, Sept. 12, 11 a.m., and go through Nov. 7. Confirmation Sunday is Nov. 14, and the confirmands will be honored at the 8:30 a.m. service. The second session runs from January to April in 2011.
The fall session consists of eight classes, with the Confirmation service in November. The curriculum comes from the Alpha series, which was designed to give nonbelievers an understanding of Christianity. In this context, it is meant to give youth a basic foundation of Christian principles in order to make new disciples and teach them the good news.
