Agape provides critical housing, childcare, transportation assistance, & education towards higher that empower women and their children to transform from crisis and poverty to self-sustaining, fulfilling lives. In its 1st 6 years, Agape has provided over 70,000 nights of safe, stable housing & hope for 61 women-led families with 94 children, 85% of which are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault or trafficking. Because we are chronically full, we’ve had to turn away 400 families in 2019 alone. The average stay for Agape families is 12 months. Agape celebrates over 70% of the families served have graduated from Agape with higher-paying jobs, housing they can afford, able to live within their means & provide homes, stability, and hope for their children. The hearts, hands, and blessings of CRUMC have helped changed each of the 155 lives Agape has touched to date!
