Event Details
On November 6, 2020, the Friday Morning Men Bible Study Group will begin a study of the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament. If you think that these ancient moldy books of the Bible are just history books only and they do not really impact our faith walk in this modern world. You would be wrong! This great prophet of God was not only important to a conquered and scattered Hebrew people but is relevant for us today as we seek to understand Jesus and the growth of His church. The teenager Daniel and three of his friends were taken into custody by the great conquering Babylon Empire. They were then taken off to the Emperor’s court thousands of miles away to be raised in a pagan Babylonian culture. Find out how they survive in that world and were able to still faithful to God.
The group is currently meeting on Zoom each Friday morning around 6:30 am for a one-hour study starting at 6:45 am. If you are interested in giving this approach a try please contact Dennis Allen at all13983@gmail.com or give him a call at 214 557-8785. The only tool you bring to the meeting is your favorite Bible (any homework is on your prompting).
