Join other Custer Road Dads for this wonderful Summer Class just for them!
This dynamic six-week small group Bible study is designed for young fathers who will strive to live more courageously in four key areas:
- Responsibility: serving, protecting, and casting a vision for their family
- Priorities: focusing on eternal things rather than what is temporary
- Legacy: recognizing a father’s potential impact as a godly role model
- Faith: strengthening a father’s identity in Christ, increasing in wisdom
The program is based on the bold fatherhood and family principles featured in the film Courageous (from the makers of Fireproof). Each week, men engage in discussion based on assigned reading from the 64-page member book, and film clips from the movie. The class will also watch the full-length feature film at the completion of the study. Men in all phases of their relationship with God are encouraged to be part of this new course for dads at Custer Road UMC.
This class is held on Thursdays from 8–9:30pm, There are 6 sessions, beginning on June 8, 2017. Register Here This class is FREE, is held in room B5 and will be led by Jeremy Holman.

New Commandment Men’s Ministry deploys teams of men that adopt the widowed, single parents and others with long-term needs in our church. Men gather on the second Saturday of the month for prayer and Bible study and then go to serve doing basic household jobs in the home of their care receiver. To be a part of this great ministry – or to request to be our next care recipient, contact Dana Bishop via email here.
