Join other Custer Road Dads for this wonderful Spring 2018 Class just for them!
We’ve all had dreams of being an expert parent or at least of raising polite, confident, and compassionate children. Then we had children. Wonderful plans quickly devolved into chaotic problem-solving, or finding “quick fixes” for our parenting troubles. Surviving each day is much easier than taking the time and energy to consider how your current parenting actions are impacting your child’s future. Unfortunately, quick and easy isn’t the same as good and effective. Doug and Cathy Fields have put together a workbook and video that provides you with 10 actions that will help you move from a Quick-Fix Parent to an Intentional Parent. These 10 actions are doable! You can get started implementing these ideas into your parenting and you will see immediate results in your child—no matter their age. Do you want to see the five C’s in your children?
- display confidence
- develop character
- have strong convictions
- express compassion
- become competent young adults
If so, this is the class to help you achieve those results. This WORKBOOK (with videos) is a combination book & study guide. Read, reflect, write, practice and change. You and your child will be glad you did!
This class is held on Sundays from 5–6:30pm, There are five sessions, beginning on January 14, 2018. Register Here This class is $25, is held in room B11 and will be led by Jeremy Holman.

New Commandment Men’s Ministry deploys teams of men that adopt the widowed, single parents and others with long-term needs in our church. Men gather on the second Saturday of the month for prayer and Bible study and then go to serve doing basic household jobs in the home of their care receiver. To be a part of this great ministry – or to request to be our next care recipient, contact Tiffanny Hosey via email here.
