LEGENDS Featured Events:
Join us on Wednesday, April 12, for a wonderful trip to the Dallas Museum of Biblical Art. This mid-Holy Week visit will deepen our appreciation and observation of the days leading up to Christ’s Crucifixion and Resurrection. We will enjoy a docent-led tour of the Museum and visit the beautiful Via Dolorosa Sculpture Garden. What is the Via Dolorosa? In Latin, “Via Dolorosa” means “way of sorrows” or “painful way.” It refers to the path that Jesus walked on his way to crucifixion. The garden proudly showcases the 14 Stations of the Cross and features gripping, emotional and larger-than-life bronze statues by Santa Fe artist, Gib Singleton. You won’t want to miss out on this beautiful and moving installation.
We will load the buses at the northwest corner of Custer Road UMC at 1:15pm. We estimate that we will return to CRUMC around 4:30pm. The cost of this trip is $12.50 per person.
