Day Two

You might be wondering “what’s this All In stuff I’ve been hearing about at Custer Road”.  To me, All In resonates on several different levels.

Custer Road UMC – I am super excited about the current and new ministries at CRUMC. Our youth, music, and mission ministries continue to excel and thrive. We will soon be adding new programs for younger families such as a contemporary worship services. Our building renovation will make our church facility more user friendly and welcoming for the “next generation” of CRUMC families and their children. As we build this church over the next 25 years, everyone’s involvement and participation is important and meaningful. Every talent, gift and skill matters.  If we are All In, there is no stopping what God can do at CRUMC.

Individual – At this level, it means not holding anything back. Anything we have is available to God to be used for His purposes. Our time, money, resources, spiritual gifts and unique talents are accessible if needed. If the Holy Spirit nudges us to help out with something, we are ready to jump in. If we are All In, we will look back with no regrets and not have to wonder what might have happened.

Personal – My life verse is John 4:34 – Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to accomplish His work”. At times my mind can become so crowded with my to-do list, worries, over analyzing, busyness and distraction. When I keep my mind quiet, I am All In to be guided by the Holy Spirit and allow Christ to accomplish His work through me.

Good Good Father, thank you for the many blessings in our lives. Thank you for Jesus and what He did on the cross for us. Thank you for CRUMC and all of our awesome ministers, leaders and members.  Please help us to be “All In” for Your kingdom in everything we do. Amen.
