Book Sale:
Shop the Book Sale on Sundays, February 19, 26 and March 6, 8:30am-Noon, or come and browse during the week when it is less crowded. You may also make a donation for Project Transformation by check, online through PushPay here.

The Book Sale supports Project Transformation, a United Methodist organization that works with urban children and churches in Dallas. PT’s mission is to engage young adults in purposeful leadership and ministry, support under served children and families, and connect churches to communities in need. Custer Road is a Partner Church with PT and the funds raised will support the young adults who work in the program. We have three young adults who are serving as Project Transformation Corps Members this summer-and there may be more! We sponsor the young adult’s stipend, which is $1500 each, making our goal $4500.
This year, our Project Transformation Corps Members from Custer Road are Erin Kiel, Derrica McDowell and Jessie Witten. All book purchases and donations collected will support these young adults from Custer Road serving with Project Transformation this summer.

Please bring books, CDs, or DVD’s (no VHS please) suitable for children, youth, or adults. Bring items to the the book sale area in Fellowship Hall through March 5.

Volunteers are needed to work the Book Sale itself. People are needed to help man the Sale on Sunday mornings and to help take down the Book Sale on Sunday, March 5.

If you would like to help or have questions, please contact Don Taylor via email here or call him at 214-336-5651.
