On Your Mark, Get Set, Go!

The Esperanza 5K Run is a fun family event that benefits Juntos Servimos and its efforts to bring physical and spiritual wholeness to families suffering the impact of extreme poverty in northern Mexico. We aspire to bring esperanza (hope) to as many people as possible. The race brings hope by raising funds for shelter, healthcare and education. This event is a first class athletic experience and festival that is enjoyable for the entire family, runners and non-runners alike.

The 5K is a USATF Certified Course. The first 450 finishers in the 5K Run and the first 150 finishers in the 1 Mile Family Fun Run will receive a ceramic medal hand painted by the children of the Juntos Servimos community.  Awards will also be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 12 and under; 13-19, 20- 29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Young people under age 18 can register at a reduced rate. Children can take part in either the 5K Run, depending on their abilities, or the Eggsperanza Family Fun 1 Mile, suitable for even the youngest children if accompanied by a parent.
