Meals on Wheels Harvest Box Collection
Spread good cheer to the elderly and homebound of Collin County!

The Collin County Committee on Aging is collecting Harvest Boxes for senior citizens in its Meals on Wheels Program that will be delivered to them in the month of November. Currently, there are over 800 seniors in the program. Custer Road’s goal is to collect at least 150 boxes. Information with specific box size guidelines will be available at a table in the Mission Donation Area on Sundays, September 16 through September 30.

Interested volunteers should pick up a flyer, collect the non-perishable food items, as well as extras such as toiletries, postage stamps, and puzzle books; package them in a box and return them to the church. Boxes can be returned on Sundays or during the week to the Mission Donation Area. All boxes must be returned to the church no later than Sunday, September 30, at 6pm.

Please stop by the table or contact Stephanie Mills via email at and discover how easy it is to brighten the season for someone who might otherwise have to do without.
