PISD SCHOOL AGE PARENT PROGRAM GRADUATION CELEBRATION
WEDNESDAY, MAY 16, AT 6PM.
PISD’s School Age Parent Program provides practical and emotional support to over 60 teens and offers academic tutoring in addition to parenting information to help them stay in school and graduate. With the help of local organizations, it provides diapers, wipes and new and gently used baby items, as well as monthly dinner meetings. During the graduation celebration on May 16, Custer Road UMC will help students exchange bonus bucks (earned for good grades, attending parenting classes, taking babies to well-checks, and other goals to becomming good students and good parents) for new baby items and provide and serve dinner.
If you would like to help with set-up/clean-up, serving dinner or in the Baby Store, please click here and through the SignUpGenius website. Donations are still being accepted for Wal-Mart and Target gift cards, diapers, wipes and new baby items, especially car seats, strollers, and the like. For more information, please contact Mary Terhune via email at email@example.com.
