S.O.U.L. Church Collection | Sock and Underwear Drive | June 5-26

For 21 years a pastor, Leon Birdd, and a team of committed volunteers has fed, cared for, clothed and worshiped Dallas’ homeless community. In those years, tons of clothes have been collected and distributed.

The need for clothing is great. The wear and tear of street life shortens the life of clothes considerably. And with no closet or safe place to store clothes, what you own is what you wear.

Our goal at Custer Road UMC is to build a stockpile of clean socks and underwear (the most in-demand items) to help S.O.U.L. get through the hot summer months. Any adult size is a good size. Please bring gently used/new socks and new underwear to the donation area in Fellowship Hall June 5-26.

On Sundays June 5 and June 12, stop by the table in Fellowship Hall to drop off socks and underwear and learn how you can serve at S.O.U.L. Church. If you have questions, please contact Patrick Robinson via email here.
