War Room Movie Event

War Room — Free Movie Screening:
Are your prayers powerful, intentional, and specific? Or are they just an afterthought at the end of the day? Would you like to strengthen your prayer life, with the goal of enriching all facets of your heart, mind, body, and soul?

Join us for a special movie event in The Venue on Saturday night, September 7, at 6:30pm. We’ll have popcorn and soft drinks available for this special screening. To help you decide on whether this movie is appropriate for your children, we would like you to know that it is rated PG, and in the Parent’s Guide under Violence and Gore it says, “An elderly lady says ‘Satan, you just got your butt kicked!’” Free child care is available with advance registration.

War Room Five Week Bible Study:
Beginning the next day, Sunday, September 8, we will have an associated Bible study which will take place in the Upper Room. This study is available at both 8:30am and 9:45am and will last five weeks, through October 6.

This study is open to everyone and we would love to have existing Sunday school classes participate. But we would especially encourage those not already members of a class to come. This will be a fun and engaging way for you to check out what happens on Sunday mornings outside of worship. Even if you can’t make the movie on Saturday night, don’t let that stop you from coming to the Bible study on Sunday mornings. We promise you’ll be glad you did!
