Disaster Relief Kits

Flood Buckets

Cleaning Kits (“Flood Buckets”) can be a great help to people following a flood in their home or business. A detailed description of what needs to go in a flood bucket can be found here. If you would like to make one, there are four locations in our area that have been designated as drop-off points:

Grace Avenue UMC (3521 Main St., Frisco)
First UMC McKinney (315. N. Church St., McKinney)
First UMC Howe (810 N. Denny St., Howe)
North Texas Conference Ministry Center (500 Maplelawn Dr., Plano)

Hygiene Kits

Custer Road’s Children’s Ministry will be assembling hygiene kits on 9/17 during the children’s Sunday School hour. Hygiene kits provide basic necessities to people who have been forced to leave their homes. If you would like to make hygiene kits, instructions can be found here. They may be dropped off at the North Texas Conference Ministry Center (see above).
