S.O.U.L. Church Collection | Socks, Underwear and Gently Used Clothing Drive | February 1-28

For 21 years a pastor, Leon Birdd, and a team of committed volunteers has fed, cared for, clothed and worshiped Dallas’ homeless community. In those years, tons of clothes have been collected and distributed.

The need for clothing is great. The wear and tear of street life shorten the life of clothes considerably. And with no closet or safe place to store clothes, what you own is what you wear. SOUL Church meets the needs of the homeless where they live – on the streets. Each Sunday for over 20 years, a team of ministers and volunteers build a church, provide worship, food and clothing to the homeless of Dallas. Each year, over 15,000 people benefit from the generosity of this mission.

Custer Road UMC has supported S.O.U.L. with new and gently used adult clothing for more than three years and in 2017 we donated about 10,000 lbs. of clothing! February is our month to donate new socks, underwear, and gently used clothing. Please join us in helping the “least of them”.

Please share your blessings and donate! You may bring donations to the Mission Donation area near the front office. Please contact Patrick Robinson via email at jprobinson@outlook.com for more information.
