PISD School-Age Parent Program Graduation Celebration!

PISD’s School-Age Parent Program provides practical and emotional support to over 60 teens and offers academic tutoring in addition to parenting information to help them stay in school and graduate. With the help of local churches, it provides diapers and wipes and gently used baby items, as well as monthly dinner meetings. The PISD School-Age Parent program is hosting a Graduation Celebration with a catered dinner for its 2019 Seniors and other students & families on Wednesday, May 15.

We need volunteers to help decorate the dining room before the event and then during the evening to serve dinner or work in the baby store where students will be able to use the bonus bucks they’ve earned this year to “buy” baby items. It’s a fun event and dinner is included. (Thanks to generous donations, Custer Road UMC is covering the cost of the dinner and have provided numerous items for the baby store.)
