After 24 years teaching special education in Plano, I retired and became the Director of the Special Needs Ministry at CRUMC. In 1995 Lynda Guerrero, the founder of Friday NITE Friends, asked me if I would be the coordinator of the program and a consistent person for the parents to see each week. My son was born with a disability so it is a really good fit for me. I am fully aware of the challenges involved in raising a child with a disability. I feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful ministry!
